What’s in a name?

When I was in high school, it was pretty much a given that my last name would change someday. Back then, hyphenating your last name or keeping your maiden name wasn’t really a thing. You got married, you took your husband's last name, and that was that. So, while I love my maiden name, “Day,” I knew it would change.
