9 x 12 inch, oil on canvas panel, unframed
I painted Bisbee Overlook during the Bisbee Plein Air Festival, mostly with a palette knife. Rather than chasing every detail, I tried to catch the feeling of the place. I've always liked the way Bisbee seems to emerge from the hills, as if the town grew out of the landscape instead of being built on top of it.
