Open Source began with something simple: kids at the edge of the ocean doing what people have always done—poking around, looking for shells or rocks, getting their feet wet, and letting curiosity lead the way.
I call it Open Source because nature is the universe's original code. It's all there, freely given—the sea, the rocks, the waves, and the endless invitation to pay attention. We don't own any of it. We just get to explore it for a little while and experience the joy of discovery.
